Meet Linda and Mike
We’re the founders of Living Strong Ministries. Our heart is to see the Body of Christ healed, restored, and equipped to walk confidently in its God given calling.
More than twenty years ago, God began stirring our hearts toward a new season. We sensed His leading to step away from our professions as a project manager and a teacher and to pursue missionary work. This call led us to train at Eastwest Bible College of Intercultural Studies for 3 years and then join WEC International. Soon after, we encountered Restoring the Foundations (RTF), a ministry that deeply shaped our own lives and equipped us for healing ministry.
We later served overseas with Betel, working cross culturally to help plant churches amongst people facing drug addiction, alcohol addiction, prostitution and other significant challenges. Introducing RTF into these communities allowed us to witness God bring freedom and transformation in powerful ways.
Returning to New Zealand, we continued serving in pastoral care and member care leadership roles, supporting missionaries and students as they prepared for ministry. These experiences strengthened our desire to see God’s people thriving and whole.
After advanced RTF training, we became Senior RTF Ministers in 2022, and in 2023 launched Living Strong Ministries fulltime. Today, we continue to see God transform lives through healing and restoration.
